In a desperate bid to escape the crushing disappointments of corporate existence, a family buys their great aunt's lodge in northern Wisconsin, hoping to begin a new life.
Life at the lake seems like it could be the answer to their prayers, but a hidden menace awaits them. Something is killing people in the lake. The family is convinced the government's fish hatchery has a created a monster it can't control.
But is this the real reason?
